Ritz-Carlton hotels are considered some of the most luxurious properties on land – and now guests can experience the same luxury at sea, as the world-renowned hotelier has launched a yacht collection. Like the Ritz-Carlton Reserve collection of hotels, these high-end boats will offer the pinnacle of luxury and service. But unlike charter yachts, the three small ships that will make up the initial fleet will be positioned in the luxury yacht cruise segment alongside the likes of Seadream Yacht Club, Windstar Cruises (Star Pride, Star Breeze and Star Legend), Silversea Cruises (Silver Cloud and Silver Wind), Crystal’s Esprit and France’s Ponant. They will set sail on seven to 10-day itineraries that are more similar to yachting itineraries, since they include smaller ports that larger cruise ships can’t access. . Reservations will open May 2018 with 298 guests on each voyage.
